Fibonacci is being realized in the fast-growing Zeeburg/Oost district, on the corner of Cruquiuskade and Panamalaan. Zeeburg was a district of the municipality of Amsterdam from 1990 to 2010, with the neighborhoods Indische Buurt, the Oostelijk Havengebied, IJburg and Zeeburgereiland.On 1 May 2010, Zeeburg and Oost-Watergraafsmeer merged into the new Amsterdam-East district.
